Connecting to the Wi-Fi

CSU offers fast and reliable Wi-Fi to all Students, Faculty, and Staff. On Campus and in the Dorms.

Notice: If you are in the following buildings, please reference our new Wi-Fi quick tips document (PDF) for information on connecting to the CSU Wi-Fi network.

We provide Wi-Fi to select dormitories including Maryland Circle, Broadway Crossing, and Columbus Hall.

Reconnecting to the Wi-Fi

Changed your OneCSU password? You'll need to reconnect to the CSU Wi-Fi network again by following the steps below:

Laptops

Windows

  1. From the Windows desktop, navigate: Start > Settings icon Settings icon > Network & Internet.
    Note Utilize the touchscreen (if available) or mouse to select on-screen options.
  2. Tap or click Wi-Fi, then tap or click Manage known networks.
    Note If not available, refer to Microsoft's Manage wireless network profiles article and follow the instructions for "Show all wireless profiles on the PC" and "Delete a profile".
  3. Tap or click the appropriate Wi-Fi network name.
  4. Tap or click Forget.
  5. Follow the steps in the documents above to connect to the CSU Wi-Fi network again.

MacOS

  1. Choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, then click Network.
  2. Select Wi-Fi in the list on the left.
  3. Click the Advanced button.
  4. The Wi-Fi pane shows a Preferred Networks list. Select the Wi-Fi network that you want your Mac to forget.
  5. Click the remove button (–) beneath the list. If you're asked to confirm, click Remove.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click Apply.
  8. Follow the steps in the documents above to connect to the CSU Wi-Fi network again.

Android/iOS Devices

Android

  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Tap "Network & internet"
  3. In the "Network & internet" menu, tap "Wi-Fi" or "Internet" (depending on your version of Android)
  4. Find the Wi-Fi network you want to forget, then tap the "Settings" button to the right of it.
  5. Directly under the name of the network, tap the trashcan icon labeled "Forget" to forget the network.
  6. Follow the steps in the documents above to connect to the CSU Wi-Fi network again.

iOS

  1. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi.
  2. Tap the info icon next to the Wi-Fi network that you want your device to forget.
  3. Tap Forget This Network, then tap Forget to confirm.
  4. Follow the steps in the documents above to connect to the CSU Wi-Fi network again.
